Donald Trump Plans To Re-Open Trump University Because There's 'So Much Interest In It!'

Donald Trump is doubling down on Trump University, the much-maligned business seminars that have drawn charges lawsuits by unhappy students.

Trump tweeted Thursday that he will resume his company "after the litigation is disposed of and the case won." The company was shuttered in 2010.

Documents released in the lawsuits against Trump this week indicate that recruiters were trained to pressure people to max out credit cards to pay for tuitions as high as $35,000.

A trial is set for November, 2016, just after the presidential general election.

In a campaign rally last week, Trump targeted the federal judge presiding over the lawsuit against Trump University during a campaign rally in San Diego, home hometown of U.S. District Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel.

Trump told supporters that Judge Curiel is "a hater of Donald Trump" who should have recused himself from the case because he was appointed by President Obama. Judge Curiel "should be ashamed of himself" for letting the case go forward, Trump said.

Trump said he is being "railroaded" in the case. It is set for trial in November. "Wouldn't that be wild if I am president and I come back to do a civil case?" he asked.
