Bernie Sanders signaled his surrender to Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential race Thursday night in a live video address to supporters. However, Sanders vowed to continue fighting for his 'Ideals" at the Philadelphia convention in July. "Our revolution" will continue, he said.

"But defeating Donald Trump cannot be our only goal," Sanders said. "We must continue our grassroots efforts to create the America that we know we can become. And we must take that energy into the Democratic National Convention on July 25 in Philadelphia where we will have more than 1,900 delegates."

"I look forward to working with Hillary Clinton in the coming week to make certain that the Democratic Party passes the most progressive platform in its history and that Democrats actually fight for that agenda."

"The campaign has never been about any single candidate," Sanders tweeted with the hashtag #OurRevolution. "It is about transforming America."

Defeating Donald Trump is the goal, Sanders said.
