Donald Trump has been widely criticized for claiming that he saw local news reports that Muslims celebrated the collapse of the World Trade Center towers on September 11, 2001. Critics insist if it was broadcast, a video would be found.

A right-wing website has published an air check of a WCBS-TV newscast from September 17, 2001, in which reporter Paul Guzman said law enforcement sources told him that men living in a Jersey City apartment building "were cheering on the roof when they saw the planes slam into the Trade Center."

"Police were called to the building by neighbors and found eight men celebrating, six of them tenants in the building," Guzman reported. The newscast did not include any video of the actual alleged celebration.

About an hour after Lead Stories published this story you are reading, Trump's spokesman tweeted about it.

The video posted on YouTube begins with a report on two men who were arrested as terror while boarding a train, however those men were later cleared of any connection to the attacks.
