Radiohead's Proposed SPECTRE Bond Theme Paired With Actual Opening Credits

Earlier this week British band Radiohead surprised fans with a short post on music site Soundcloud that simply read:

Last year we were asked to write a theme tune for the Bond movie Spectre.
Yes we were. It didn't work out, but became something of our own, which we love very much.
As the year closes we thought you might like to hear it.
Merry Christmas. May the force be with you.

As you can see at the top of this post, YouTube user avindustries13 combined the track with the actual opening credits of the movie, replacing Sam Smith's track "Writing's on the Wall". We think it works surprisingly well. What do you think? Let us know in the comments...
