Rapper Claims Flat Earth, Neil deGrasse Tyson Responds

Despite the technological advances of the past few centuries, there are still those who disagree with EVERYTHING despite all proofs. To keep 2016 exciting, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson has gotten into a Twitter feud with rapper B.o.B, which peaked yesterday when both released "diss tracks" aimed at each other.

B.o.B, a 27-year-old American rapper, gained the internet's attention with his recent tweets about the flat Earth theory. He has tweeted dozens of times about how the Earth's horizon never curves. One of his primary examples is that if Earth was spherical, then the buildings on the horizon should be out of sight.

He has even been attacking NASA as being "the edge of the world gatekeepers for over 50 years," claiming that the north and south pole mark the edges of the world, and that all of NASA's photographs are photoshopped.

The argument began after B.o.B. Tweeted an image attempting to prove his Flat Earth theory:

Neil deGrasse Tyson responded:

@bobatl Earth's curve indeed blocks 150 (not 170) ft of Manhattan. But most buildings in midtown are waaay taller than that.

Naturally, B.o.B. quickly hit the studio with his purported rap knowledge and produced a 3 minute diss-track aimed at Tyson which was posted shortly after the first words were exchanged:

By Tuesday evening, Tyson replied to B.o.B. with a track of his own, with the help of his musician nephew Steve Tyson. The last line of Tyson's track says: "Dude, to be clear: Being five centuries regressed in your reasoning doesn't mean we all can't still like your music."
