Rick Santorum will become the latest Republican candidate to end his presidential campaign after disappointing results in the Iowa caucuses, according to CNN. The network quotes two Republican sources saying Santorum will make the announcement Wednesday evening.

Santorum, who won Iowa four years ago and was the GOP runner-up to Mitt Romney in 2012, finished 11th with barely 1% of the votes in 2016.

Rand Paul, who finished 5th in Iowa, suspended his presidential campaign earlier Wednesday. The Republican field, which once boasted 17 contenders, has just 9 active candidates left.
