More that 5,500 people died crossing American streets in 2014. While that is fewer than the 8,000 killed each year in the late 1970s, it is a death toll than is preventable. This gallery, which shows you the top 7 deadliest roads in the United States, may shock you since traffic officials are doing nothing to fix the problem on some of the streets.
