UMass Amherst Campus Lockdown Over: No Details Yet On 'Hostile Armed Man' Report

The University of Massachusetts Amherst campus is on lockdown Thursday evening because of a "hostile armed person" reported at the school. The lockdown began after a student reported seeing a man with a gun on campus, but no shots were fired, according to WWLP-TV. Campus police alerted students to "shelter in place" through Twitter.
