Two men died in a suicide at the Lackland Air Force Base near San Antonio, Texas, Friday morning, according to the Bexar County sheriff.
While base officials are not yet confirming the identities of the dead, the AIr Force Times is quoting a Pentagon communication saying it was a murder-suicide in which an airmen shot and killed the commander of a training squadron.
The FBI special agent in charge of the investigation told reporters that it initially appears the shooting was "not an act of terrorism."
Two Glock handguns were found at the scene, according to a base spokesman. The attack happened in an officer in a classroom building, he said.
