Blue Angels Jet Crashes In Tennessee, Hours After Thunderbird Mishap

A U.S. Navy Blue Angels F/A-18 crashed in Smyrna, Tennessee, Thursday afternoon, just hours after an Air Force Thunderbird F-16 crashed in Colorado. The Blue Angels crash happened as the U.S. Navy's flight demonstration squadron was practicing for the Great Tennessee Air Show set for Saturday over the skies of Nashville.

A Tennessee TV station reports that 1,300 homes have lost elecrical power because of the crash. One person is confirmed dead, the station reports.
