When Fox News host Bill O'Reilly told Donald Trump he was bothered by the billionaire's recent "totally wrong" tweet about the number of white Americans killed by black Americans, Trump insisted it was not his fault.

Trump retweeted a chart of purported United States crime statistics that said blacks killed whites at a 81% rate in 2015, when the real stat was 15%.

"I didn't tweet," Trump said. "I retweet someone who was supposedly an expert." The GOP frontrunner said he doesn't have time to check everything.

O'Reilly told Trump he was "bothered" by the Trump's misstep and gave him some advice, adding that he has Trump's back. "Don't do this, Don't put you on stuff like this because it makes the other side, it gives them stuff to tell the ill-informed voter that you're a racist."

'I'm probably the least racist person on earth," Trump said.
