An NFL security guard and at least a few San Diego Charger fans must not realize that Sikh men from Indian are not Muslim. Several men were blocked from entering the San Diego-Denver NFL game last Sunday and ordered them to take off their Sikh turbans which matched the Denver Bronco's orange, the men told San Diego's ABC-TV affiliate.

Police also checked the men's car with bomb-detecting dogs after Charger fans reported the group was putting a suspicious package in the trunk. While the security sensitivity may be the result of the recent terror attack blamed on a Muslim couple in Santa Bernardino, California, Sikhs are not Islamic.

In an unrelated incident, a southern California man admitted to police that he spray-painted expletives and the word "ISIS" at a Sikh temple in Buena Park, California, because he mistook the religion for Islam.
