Disney Confirms: Harrison Ford Returns As 'Indiana Jones' In 2019

Steven Spielberg rvteams with Harrison Ford for "Indiana Jones 5" which is scheduled to hit big screens around the world on July 19, 2019, Walk Disney Studios announced Tuesday.

"Indiana Jones is one of the greatest heroes in cinematic history, and we can't wait to bring him back to the screen in 2019," Disney Studios' Chairman Alan Horn. "It's rare to have such a perfect combination of director, producers, actor and role, and we couldn't be more excited to embark on this adventure with Harrison and Steven."

Spielberg and Ford have been talking for years about restarting the franchise.
