Super Bowl 50: Broncos Capture Win With 'Tenacious D'

  • by: Jeremy Smith

Led by quarterback Peyton Manning and a "smash-mouth" defense, the Denver Broncos won the 50th Super Bowl on Sunday with a 24-10 upset victory over the Carolina Panthers at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. It was the third Super Bowl victory for the Broncos franchise, and its first since 1999.

It was also the second Super Bowl victory for Denver quarterback Peyton Manning, who had lost two of his previous three Super Bowl appearances, including a lopsided defeat to Seattle only two years ago.

Now the attention turns to whether Peyton chooses to retire, being the oldest player to win a Super Bowl, or continue to play the "Pig Skin". I have always been a fan of Peyton Manning. I think he's a great example of how to represent yourself well, and be an amazing inspiration to many people.
