Fact Check: BMW Did NOT Introduce A 'One-Wheel Ride' At The Tech Expo 2026 -- The Power Unicycle Video Is AI-Generated AI Generated

Did BMW launch a motorized unicycle at the 2026 Tech Expo? No, that's not true: The AI-generated video was published by a channel with a disclaimer that they "explore the future of technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics." This same channel has published similar AI-generated videos showcasing one-wheel vehicles that purportedly came from Honda, Ferrari, Ducati, and Tesla. Searches for press releases about BMW innovations and 2026 tech expos did not produce any credible results.

The video (archived here) was published on YouTube on Dec. 8, 2025 by the channel @hasnafatimahizza. It was captioned:

The video has a disclaimer:

Sound or visuals were significantly edited or digitally generated.

The @hasnafatimahizza channel describes their content:

We pursue artificial intelligence blended with a human touch. Based on innovation that brings AI and robotics to life in a natural and meaningful way. This channel explores the future of technology, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

The channel has published similar AI-generated video shorts (archived here) depicting trade show models demonstrating futuristic vehicles with the logos of established brands such as Honda, Ducati, Tesla, and Ferrari (pictured below).

A Google search for the terms "2026 tech expo" AND "BMW" pointed back to the @hasnafatimahizza channel and other futuristic videos posted on TikTok. There were no credible news reports about a one-wheel ride from BMW.

A search of the press releases from the press.bmwgroup.com webpage for "tech expo 2026" did not bring up any results showing a one-wheel ride. The most relevant article (archived here) was from Dec. 17, 2025 announcing a car, the BMW iX3, which will be showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026. Lead Stories reached out to BMW for comment and will update this article if appropriate.
