Was there an Antifa sticker and another one claiming "transgender surgeries performed in this car" on the Honda Pilot Renee Good was driving when she was shot and killed on a Minneapolis street by an ICE agent? No, that's not true: The image of a cluster of car stickers is labeled as AI-generated. The TikTok account that first used the image is labeled #comedy and includes numerous videos of a bearded man making jokes and telling made-up or exaggerated stories for a conservative audience.

The #comedy video was re-posted as "facts" in a Jan. 8, 2026 X post (archived here) on the JakeCan72 account under the title "Breaking". It opened:

JD Vance calls Minneapolis protesters "radicals" from left-wing groups stirring anti-ICE chaos.

Victim Renee Good's car? Video shows Antifa sticker + one claiming "transgender surgeries performed in this car" 😳

Facts emerging in ongoing investigation.

Here's an image from the video as it appeared on X at the time of writing:

The image of a be-stickered rear window first appeared (archived here) in a video on the "DailyLikeTheNewspaper" TikTok account. In that version, watermarks labeled it #comedy and included a "Contains AI-generated media" disclosure, as required by TikTok's terms of service. Lead Stories enlarged the labelling on the TikTok video to show the disclosures in the graphic below:

X's Rules and Policies (archived here) did not, at the time this was written, require users like JakeCan72 to disclose when the images or videos they post are AI-generated.

The JakeCan72 account later re-posted another user's video of the incident that clearly shows the rear window of Good's car, showing it was decorated with tourist stickers, but none of the Antifa or other political stickers shown in JakeCan72's post to X.com:
