Fact Check: FAKE Twitter Profile "Zayden Brantley" Depicting A Pervy Non-Binary Anti-Fascist Public School Teacher Was Deleted In 2020 2020 Parody

Did a real school teacher, Zayden Brantley, tweet that if parents want to view remote e-learning classes that the teacher should be able to view children's bath times? No, that's not true: The fake Twitter account which made a series of inflammatory tweets in August 2020 was deleted on Sept. 3, 2020. There is no evidence that Brantley was a real person, was a teacher, or supported any of the things posted to social media. It appears to be a sockpuppet account created to ragebait a certain audience.

The screenshot resurfaced in a post (archived here) on X by @HazelAppleyard on May 6, 2026. It was captioned:

Please be satire please be satire

This is the screenshot included with the post:

The screenshot contains two parts. The top shows a Tweet which reads:

Zayden Brantley
@ZaydenBrantley
If the parents of my 3rd grade students insist on being able to view our remote E-learning classes, I think it's only fair i'm allowed to view their children's bath times. How else can I properly instruct them in proper prepubescent hygiene?

The lower portion of the screenshot is the bio of the Twitter profile. It says:

Zayden Brantley
@ZaydenBrantley
Feminist. Educator. Non-binary. Socialist. Anti fascist. Always punch Nazis. They/them.

The URL x.com/ZaydenBrantley (archived here) brings up a blank page with a notice:

The Internet Archive has a Sept. 2, 2020 archive for twitter.com/zaydenbrantley.

Know Your Meme did not, at the time this was written, include a "Zayden Brantley" entry.

A reverse image search for the profile picture with Google Lens did not point to a source for the photo or additional social media accounts held by a Zayden Brantley. There is one result, a video (archived here) which was posted on YouTube on Jan. 26, 2023 titled, "The Self Admitted Child Predators of Twitter are Disgusting". The thumbnail image (archived here) of the video (pictured below) was this profile photo, but stretched horizontally, and without the streak of purple hair. The image does not appear in the body of the video, and the name Zayden Brantley does not appear in the video's transcript.

A Google search for @ZaydenBrantley surfaces some recent posts on social media and two older posts which were made to iFunny. One post (archived here) from Sept. 4, 2020 contained the screenshot of the tweet which @HazelAppleyard recently reposted on X, but this screenshot contains the date @ZaydenBrantley made the tweet -- August 26, 2020. A second iFunny post from Sept. 5, 2020 (archived here) has screenshots of a heated exchange between a parent and the @ZaydenBrantley account on Sept. 3, 2020. Aside from documenting the over-the-top ragebaiting the account was engaging in, this exchange indicates the @ZaydenBrantley account was active as late as Sept. 3, 2020.

A post made on Facebook on Sept. 3, 2020 (archived here) contains several screenshots of some ragebaiting posts made by @ZaydenBrantley. These posts are so inflammatory it is clear that the account is trolling. A screenshot of an Aug. 9, 2020 tweet reads:

Sex workers need help during these unprecedented times. By donating via this link: Cash.app/Supply TheStrug... you can make a difference in their lives. Sex work is often a forgotten, yet necessary industry. Dehumanized too long, they truly need our help.

Another screenshot with an Aug. 25, 2020 tweet reads:

E-learning is so frustrating. How am I supposed to instruct 4th graders in erotic massage if I can't gauge their muscle tension? Guess i'll skip that and move on with a group reading of the classic children's book, "My First Orgasm", just need to make sure every one has a towel.

In another Sept. 3, 2020 post on Facebook (archived here) people commenting are in disbelief, questioning if the Twitter account is real or fake. One person responding to a question if the account had been deleted commented on Sept. 3, 2020:

oh wow! looks like I saw it one hour ago and it was there... must have been a lot of people who reported his posts
