Fact Check: FAKE Videos Show Nurse, Others Dancing To Blanco Brown's 'The Git Up' -- AI-Generated Characters Made With AI

Does a real video show a nurse, flight attendant, police officer, cheerleader or Walmart associate dancing to "The Git Up" song? No, that's not true: A series of AI-generated videos shows characters dancing to the 2019 country hit by Blanco Brown with identical choreography. Each of these dancing videos originates from an Instagram account featuring additional sexualized AI-generated images and videos of the same realistic character, some with an AI disclaimer and others without.

One video was reposted (archived here) by the X account @Docquistador on July 24, 2026. It was captioned:

Nurses, 5 minutes after blowing out your vein trying go start an IV.

This is a screenshot from the video:

This video originated from the Instagram account @sophia_mclark, which published it on July 9, 2026 (archived here). The account does not have any posted AI disclaimers.

The Instagram audio page for the Blanco Brown song, "The Git Up" (archived here), shows a mix of content using that music track. Some show real people, but many of the videos show characters wearing work uniforms, dancing identically to the same choreography, even having the same facial expressions -- a sign of having been AI-generated from the same motion reference material. Lead Stories made the GIF below with the @sophia_mclark video, which has no AI disclaimer, played beside a July 14, 2026, video from @sofieslife03 (archived here), which is posted with an AI disclaimer:

Lead Stories uploaded a few seconds of the @sophia_mclark video to the AI-generated content detection tool at Hive Moderation. The tool determined with 92.3% confidence the input was AI-generated (pictured below). The tool also found with 77.1% confidence that the video had been generated with Kling, an AI platform that promotes its motion control capabilities (archived here). Kling describes its motion control feature this way:

Bring any static image to life. Upload a reference video, and Kling will replicate the movement, facial expressions, and details with zero character distortion.

Below is a collection of screenshots from AI-generated dance videos that use the Blanco Brown song, "The Git Up." All are all the same dance animated from the same source model.
