What We Know About Ring Video Showing Man Looking Through Mailbox While Holding Campaign Flyer for Rep. Randy Fine What We Know

Does a Ring video show Rep. Randy Fine, Florida's Sixth District congressman, looking through a mailbox while delivering a campaign flyer? Here's what we know so far: A Ring video dated Aug. 16, 2026, shows a bearded man wearing sunglasses and Randy Fine campaign garb, including a "Defend the Border" cap, standing on the porch of a home and holding a campaign flyer. After ringing the doorbell, he turns to his left and flips through the mail in a letterbox on the wall. An official campaign video posted Aug. 18, 2026, shows a bearded Fine wearing the same outfit, minus the sunglasses. A police report on the incident includes Fine's name.

The claim appeared in a post and video (archived here) by Dan Bilzerian (@DanBilzerian), who ran against Fine in the Sixth District Republican primary, on X on Aug. 17, 2026. It read:

Wow, Randy Fine caught on video committing a Felony.

The video (archived here) was first posted by Diane Rodrigue (archived here) on Facebook, but has since been taken offline or made private. Lead Stories was able to capture a screenshot of the post before it was removed. It read:

Anyone know who this asshole is that decides to rifle through my mailbox? Absolute bullshit. he rings my doorbell so he knows he's being recorded and he decides to go through my mail. Who the hell is this jerk? that's a federal offense. It cuts off so I don't know if he took something.

Lead Stories contacted the Ormond Beach (Fla.) Police Department (OBPD) to request any incident report or information related to the video. The post listed Ormond Beach as its location, as seen in the lower-left corner of the post above. City public information officer Pauline Dulang provided the incident report, which included Fine's name. In part, it read:

RP [requesting party] stated after doing some digging, turns out the male in her Video is U.S Representative Randy Fine who rang her ring doorbell then began going through her mailbox letter by letter. It appears he did not take anything but RP just wanted to notify LEO [law enforcement officer]. RP does not wish to pursue any charges.

The OBPD incident report appears below:

In an Aug. 18, 2026, email to Lead Stories, Dulang said this about the incident report:

No authorities have confirmed if this is Randy Fine. The RP did not wish to pursue charges, so the incident was documented through the CAD [computer-aided dispatch] call and the call was closed.

In a post and video (archived here) dated Aug. 18, 2026, on X, Fine (@VoteRandyFine) can be seen in a video wearing the same campaign shirt and hat that the man in the other video was wearing. It reads:

IT'S TIME TO GET OUT AND VOTE, FL-06!

The stakes have never been higher.

I've been endorsed by President Trump three times in three years, and I've been the biggest champion for the SAVE America Act in Congress.

I know it's hot outside, but I'd certainly appreciate it if everyone would make the effort to get out and vote today.

Let's finish strong! 🇺🇸

Florida's primary election was held on Aug. 18, 2026.
