Does a video show passengers of FlyDubai flight FZ1073 to Tel Aviv celebrating on board with a big speaker after the hijacking attempt on Sept. 30, 2026? No, that's not true: The footage is from August 2025 and shows members of the Israeli men's basketball team on a plane. The original footage showing a man carrying a large speaker celebrating on a plane was posted on social media in 2025.
The claim appeared in a post and video (archived here) by @ssi_movement on Instagram on Sept. 30, 2026. It read:

Passengers and crew helped subdue the attacker before the plane landed safely. All passengers were accounted for. After everything they had just experienced, this was the scene onboard. 🇮🇱
