New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has rejoined the team for the first time since losing his right index finger during a fireworks accident on July 4th, 2015.
Pierre-Paul went into seclusion after the accident, having no contact with the team or its medical staff until after training camp started.

Giants.com is reporting the sack-specialist will begin working with the team's medical staff and he's expected to start football drills.
It's unclear when Pierre-Paul will return to the game day lineup, but it is unlikely he'll suit up for the next two Sundays. Terms of his deal haven't been disclosed.
