Karolina Kiripolská | Lead Stories
Karolína Kiripolská began her journalistic career at the Slovak independent newspaper Denník N, where she later worked as a web editor. Her most successful series of articles about the brain drain in Slovakia was nominated for both the Journalist Award for Economic Journalism in Slovakia and the Arnošt Heinrich Award in the Czech Republic. Since 2023, she has been working as a fact-checker for Lead Stories and as a reporter for the Ján Kuciak Investigative Center (ICJK), which partners with the international organization, Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP).
