Fake News: President Trump Did NOT Scare Toddlers During Classroom Visit

Did President Trump scare one or more small kids into screaming and crying with fear as he visited their classroom? A viral video we spotted on Twitter seems to show just that but it is fake. The truth is that the video is a montage of two different videos. The events in the clip are not real but the montage is really good.

We spotted the video in a tweet published on April 3, 2018 by Twitter user @bbbyjocey (archived here) captioned:


However the video is a combination of a video actually showing Trump visiting a Nevada classroom during the 2016 election campaign (zoomed in):

and a video showing some toddlers being scared of the Easter Bunny:
