Fact Check: Nancy Pelosi Did NOT Buy A 25-Million-Dollar Mansion In Florida Not Her House

Did Nancy Pelosi buy a $25,000,000 mansion in Florida? No, that's not true: "This is completely false," the Speaker of the House's deputy chief of staff told Lead Stories. The real estate broker who listed the house told Lead Stories that neither Pelosi nor anyone related to her purchased the home.

The claim appeared as a post (archived here) where it was published on Facebook on November 24, 2021. It opened:

Interesting, she doesn't want to live in the state she created? Also, she must not be to worried about the climate change thing she's been screeching about for years.

Word is, a large #trump boat parade is planned for her arrival. Welcoming her with open arms.

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The post had an image of a large house with the text:

Nancy Pelosi just went into contract to buy a Florida oceanfront mansion listed for $25,000,000
Just checked with top broker in area who confirm this information
10,000 sf property on Jupiter Island just changed to "pending" on MLS

"This is completely false," Drew Hammill, deputy chief of staff for Pelosi, emailed Lead Stories on November 29, 2021. "There's no such pending sale nor is the family looking or interested."

The home is located in Hobe Sound, Florida, and is listed as "pending" for $25,000,000 on Zillow.
