Fact Check: Video Does NOT Show 'Boy Dressed Like A Girl' On Biden Plane Natalie Biden

Was a "little boy" in female clothes videotaped while traveling on the same plane as President Joe Biden? No, that's not true: A video making that claim on social media shows Biden's granddaughter Natalie Biden going down steps from the aircraft behind her grandfather.

The claim appeared in a reel published on Facebook on March 15, 2023. The clip had text superimposed on it, saying:

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The video with this in-built caption started to circulate on TikTok as early as March 16, 2023. It contained the logo of the Truth Social media platform. Later, the same claim spread on Twitter (for example, here).

Prior to it, on March 14, 2023, Biden visited Las Vegas with his granddaughter Natalie, whose other photos are easily available in stock image galleries. A better-quality version of the same footage confirms that it was her, not an unknown "little boy":

Natalie, 18, is the oldest child of Joe Biden's son Beau who died in 2015 at age 46, when Joe Biden was the vice president in the Obama administration. It is not unusual for members of the first family to accompany the U.S. head of state on official trips, and Natalie had done it before, as the White House website confirms.
