Fact Check: NO Evidence Group Known As 'Patriot Front' Has Disbanded As Of March 7, 2025 Still Posting

Did the group known as the "Patriot Front" disband the day after Kash Patel started as FBI Director or shortly after Christopher Wray resigned from that position? No, that's not true: As of this writing, the group's website is still active. So is their Telegram channel, where they were actively publishing updates.

There have been several claims the group has disbanded, most recently in this X Post (archived here) published on March 6, 2025 which read:

Patriot Front disbanded the day after Kash Patel was signed in as FBI director?!

So they were 100% federal agent provocateurs then?

A similar claim was made in a December 16, 2024 Substack post (archived here) titled "Shocker: 'Patriot Front" Disbands One Day After FBI Director Chris Wray Resigns':

In news that will come as no surprise to anyone who is at least moderately informed, the "right wing neo-Nazi" group Patriot Front, has disbanded the day after disgraced FBI Director Chris Wray resigned.

That post was later amended with this update:

UPDATE - A reader who is unusually obsessed with Patriot Front informs us that the Patriot Front astroturfers are back. We wonder if they will be less active now that USAID has been shut down.

The same article was quoted by Joe Rogan on his podcast in late February 2025 while talking with Elon Musk:

Didn't the patriot front just disband? Google that real quick, we'll end it with this. Because I think they just disbanded and these were the most obvious feds of all time. They had a f*cking drum, they had masks on, they all had uniforms. It was so stupid.

However a Google News search for "Patriot Front" and "disbands" yielded no relevant results (archived here) at the time of writing except for the substack post mentioned earlier.

The group's website (archived here) and Telegram channel (archived here) were still posting updates as of March 6, 2025.
