Did President Donald Trump make a post on Truth Social on March 11, 2025, calling people "BROKIES" and saying "I don't care about the stock market"? No, that's not true: A viral screenshot of what looked like a Truth Social post had been digitally manipulated. There is no record of this post on Donald Trump's Truth Social account or on Google.

The fake screenshot appeared in a post on X (archived ) published on March 11, 2025. The post was captioned:

Trump is actually insane man

Trump's Truth, a website that archives Trump's Truth Social posts, did not include any posts indexed with that phrase either (archived here).

A Google search (pictured below) for the phrase "A bunch of BROKIES are crying about the stock market today", limited to links containing truthsocial.com/@realdonaldtrump using the "site:" search operator returned no results (pictured below), indicating Google didn't recently index such a post.
