Did President Donald Trump speak to Fox News about a "Tesla medbed," calling it an "incredible piece of technology"? No, that's not true: Medbeds -- a term for a device that can carry out miraculous healing and age reversal and defy mortality -- do not exist. Footage which appeared to show Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany interviewing Trump on the subject was fake, and mis-named McEnany as "Clara".
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) on TikTok on March 17, 2025, and consisted of what appeared to be a Fox News segment featuring host and former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, and Trump. In it, McEnany and Trump appeared to discuss "Tesla medbeds," as follows:
MCENANY: Mr. President, it's wonderful to have you on. What can you tell us about this amazing new scientific invention?
TRUMP: Well Clara, thank you and everyone on Fox News for having me on. I'm joining you tonight to share some news on our progress with this incredible new medbed technology. The Tesla medbed is a very high-tech piece of medical equipment that is used to heal people of all kinds of diseases, ailments, aging and even mortality.
This is what the post looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:

In reality, no such interview was ever broadcast by Fox News.
The audio of what was presented as Trump's voice was clearly fake, possibly using generative AI. The underlying video footage of McEnany -- over which clearly inauthentic mouth movements have been digitally superimposed -- was taken from a real June 21, 2023, segment (archived here) in which she discussed social issues:

Furthermore, Lead Stories conducted Google searches for the terms "medbed" (archived here), "med bed" (archived here) and "med-bed" (archived here) on the Fox News website, using the "site:FoxNews.com" operator. All three search terms yielded no results.
Finally, no device exists that can miraculously reverse aging, cure incurable diseases, or prevent death. If such an invention had been made, and the president of the United States had discussed it live on television, it would have formed the basis for widespread news coverage.
A Google News search (archived here) for the words "Trump," "medbed" and "Fox" yielded no relevant entries, further underlining the story's status as a digitally created fabrication.
