Fact Check: President Trump Did NOT Post "JD KILL POPE" Acrostic To His Truth Social Account -- @TrumpDailyPosts X.com Screenshot Is Phony Counterfeit

Did President Donald Trump hide an acrostic message - spelling out "JD KILL POPE" - in an April 18, 2025 post to his Truth Social account three days before the death of Pope Francis? No, that's not true: The paragraph, marked in red to show a supposed acrostic message, was never posted by Trump's Truth Social account. The counterfeit screenshot of a Trump Social post was made to look like it came from an X.com page called "Donald J. Trump Posts From His Truth Social." No such post appears on that X account, either.

The counterfeit was posted on X.com on April 23, 2025 (archived here) on the @UncleSamsNaughtyFella account, captioned "no conspiracy theorist but...🧐🤷‍♀️". The counterfeit post shown in the screenshot reads:

JUST LIKE THEY ALL PREDICTED, I DON'T INTEND TO PRODUCE ANY NEW TAXES LIKE THE DECPTIVE BIDEN AND HIS !!! LACKIES !!! ANY EVEN-HANDED AND FAIR REPORTER WILL CONFIRM THIS!! MAGA AND THANK YOU!!

Here is what the post looked like on X at the time this fact check was written:

A search of the Trump's Truth index of all Trump posts to Truth Social showed (archived here) no April posts by Trump that contain "JUST LIKE THEY ALL PREDICTED":

Lead Stories also searched the Google News index of thousands of websites, using the search terms: "Trump AND "JUST LIKE THEY ALL PREDICTED"". GoogleNews showed no instances (archived here) of the phrase appearing in news coverage:

Lead Stories manually searched the April posts of "Donald J. Trump Posts From His Truth Social" (X handle @TrumpDailyPosts) which re-posts the president's Truth Social posts on X. That account did not index a "JUST LIKE THEY ALL PREDICTED" post, either.
