Was Shiloh Hendrix's campaign to raise $1,000,000 frozen, as of midday May 9, 2025? No, that's not true: The crowd-funding platform told Lead Stories that the money is still available to the campaign owner. While working on this article, a Lead Stories reporter observed that donations were still coming in.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) on X published on May 9, 2025. It read:
This is what KARMA looks like! Shiloh Hendrix just had her donations frozen and she won't be getting them now and her Donators won't be getting refunds! 😆😆😆😆
In the video shared in the post, a woman restated the claim:
I wonder how Ms. Shiloh Hendrix is feeling today, knowing all of that money is frozen and she can't get to it and people [who] donated can't get a refund.

Shiloh Hendrix's name appeared in the news amid the release of a video (archived here) in which she seemed to confirm that she had used the N-word against a child. As reported by NBC News, Minnesota local police were looking into the matter.
After that, Ms. Hendrix started a crowdfunding campaign (archived here), saying that she'd been a victim of doxxing and that she may need to relocate as a result of what she described as being "threatened" and experiencing a "great turmoil".
In response, some social media users -- for example, here (archived here) -- called on others to collectively demand a freeze on the crowdfunding campaign.
Yet, as of Friday afternoon on May 9, 2025, the campaign was still live. As a Lead Stories reporter worked on this article, new donations were still coming in.
On May 9, 2025, Co-Founder of GiveSendGo Heather Wilson told Lead Stories via email about Hendrix's campaign:
As of now, the campaign for Shiloh Hendrix has not been frozen, and the funds are available to the campaign owner in accordance with GiveSendGo's standard withdrawal process.
