Is a Ring video of a man pulling up to the house of a boy he met playing Roblox to hook up with his mom authentic? No, that's not true: The social media account where the video originated describes itself as "making skits for entertainment." The account includes dozens of other skits recorded at the same front door with some of the same actors.
The video (archived here) was published on the @ringinthebedroom June 3, 2025. The caption on the video read:
Man pulls up on the kid he met on Roblox! Man gets directions to the child's house!

The The 1 minute, 14-second video, recorded from the perspective of a Ring doorbell camera, shows a boy sitting on a porch as a small truck pulls up. A man starts talking to the child as he gets out of the truck. This is a partial script of the skit:
Man: Hey buddy.Boy: Hey.Man: Are you the kid off Roblox?Boy: Yeah.Man: What are you doing?Boy: I'm waiting on you.Man: I normally don't meet kids at their house, but I made an exception for this.
The video is then edited to show the boy standing and moving toward the door to speak to his mother:
