Fact Check: Eminem Did NOT Release 'Emotional Tribute Song' For Charlie Kirk Not Authentic

Did Eminem release a tribute song for Charlie Kirk? No, that's not true: As of September 19, 2025, no Eminem's official pages mentioned the purported song. An account that posted the 2-minute 22-second music video included a disclaimer that it publishes "altered or synthetic content".

The claim appeared in a video (archived here) published on YouTube on September 14, 2025. It opened:

This is what the video's thumbnail looked like on YouTube at the time of writing:

The expanded version of the description, however, showed a disclaimer warning that the clip was not an authentic song by Eminem:

The "learn more" option led to a Google support page (archived here) that explained further:

You should expect to see this disclosure when:

1. The creator manually discloses the use of 'altered or synthetic' content in the YouTube Studio workflow. When content is undisclosed, in some cases, YouTube may take action to reduce the risk of harm to viewers by proactively applying a label that creators will not have the option to remove. Learn more about our 'altered or synthetic content' disclosures.

2. The creator uses YouTube's generative AI tools (e.g., DreamScreen).

3. The content contains valid Content Credentials data indicating the entire video is made with AI. Learn more about Content Credentials (C2PA).

A Google search of Eminem's official website for the name of the deceased conservative activist produced no matches:

Lead Stories manually reviewed the section of the website with Eminem's videos (archived here), but none of them mentioned Kirk. No clips dedicated to him appeared on the rapper's official YouTube channel, either:

On X, out of the last three posts published by the musician's account, only two appeared after September 10, 2025 (archived here), when Kirk was shot and killed in Utah, but those entries did not discuss the news:

On Eminem's account on Instagram, posts published after the assassination didn't discuss Kirk's death:
