Did a welfare recipient's online brag about her $50-a-month taxpayer-subsidized rent get her evicted after angry social media users reported her to "housing" officials? No, none of that is true: It's rage bait. The character seen in a series of posts sought traffic to her social media accounts by creating posts intended to goad social media users enough to repost and comment. In subsequent posts, she labelled it satire and rage bait and called enraged viewers "gullible". The post celebrating her eviction may itself be just another social media user harvesting traffic from outrage.
The claim that her eviction was because of her bragging appeared in an October 22, 2025 TikTok re-post (archived here) on the @triumphantlyhis5 account with the text under the title:
Pride posted it, karma reposted it.
This is what the post looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:

The entire drama - from bragging in an October 17, 2025 TikTok post (archived here) about paying $50 rent in a 10-story building to announcing her eviction caused by social media critics reporting her to the authorities - is made up, an example of "rage bait" (archived here) content that seeks angry engagement as a way to earn ad revenue online.
The @momlifeeee6 content creator posted multiple times that the story was not real:
She, in an October 21, 2025 TikTok post (archived here) called her work "rage baiting" in an on-screen caption. In the video, she says:
Alright, I think I'm done rage baiting, y'all gullible people that don't read captions or descriptions or whatever. I think I'm going to get back to my regular content, even though it wasn't getting that many views, but...I guess I don't want to be a rage baiter ...

Here's a screenshot of account information on a November 3, 2025 post to the account which says (archived here) "This story is not real."

In that November 3 post, the character on-camera says:
So this is why I even made that, the first video I made of the $50 rent.
People were, in one of my videos, assuming things about me...So even after I tell you guys that it was satire and it wasn't real you still assume things about me....You guys prove my point, every time.
