Fact Check: Video Of Marine Pushing President Trump Up Marine One Helicopter Steps Is NOT Real -- AI-Generated Satire AI Satire

Is a video showing a U.S. Marine pushing President Donald Trump up the steps into the Marine One helicopter real? No, that's not true: A full version of the video shows the president's pants splitting, exposing a large hole in his underwear and the Marine's uniform is not authentic. It was obviously created by an artificial intelligence tool. The earliest version of the full video found by Lead Stories was posted by a self-described parody page on Facebook.

Variations of the video appeared in dozens of posts on several social platforms, including a post (archived here) shared by the Mrs. Putin Facebook account on November 5, 2025. The caption read:

It was VERY WINDY and the step were very slippery. DON'T look at his hat.

This is what the post looked like on Facebook at the time of writing:

The Mrs. Putin Facebook page "About" section acknowledges that it is a satirical account.

The Mrs. Putin account may not be the originator of the full video, but it is the earliest found at the time of writing. The most viral versions only show the first two seconds of the six-second video posted by the Mrs. Putin account. Those versions, including this Threads post (archived here), use slow-motion to extend the first two seconds, stopping just before the pants splitting.

This same Threads account acknowledged in a post (archived here) that the video was fake, and that the omission of the pants-splitting section made it seem possibly real.

This is how a real Marine guard is dressed at the White House:

The emblems, stripes, and other details are significantly different from this version made by artificial intelligence:
