Fact Check: Donald Trump DID Say Rob Reiner And His Wife Were Murdered Because Of His Anger 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' (TDS) -- Truth Social Post A Real Post

Did President Trump really post a message on his Truth Social account saying that Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were murdered " reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS?" Yes, he did: The post appeared on the president's timeline at 9:51 am EST Monday, December 15, 2025, about 15 hours after the Reiners' daughter discovered their bodies in their Los Angeles home. The president's message claimed Reiner drove people "CRAZY" with his anti-Trump "obsession." The Reiners' son has been charged with the stabbing murders.

A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood. Rob Reiner, a tortured and struggling, but once very talented movie director and comedy star, has passed away, together with his wife, Michele, reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.

The post continued:

He was known to have driven people CRAZY by his raging obsession of President Donald J. Trump, with his obvious paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and with the Golden Age of America upon us, perhaps like never before. May Rob and Michele rest in peace!

Los Angeles police announced on Monday, December 15, 2025, that they booked the Reiners' son, Nick Reiner, 32, on suspicion of murder. A daughter found her parents' bodies in their home at 3:40 p.m. PST on Sunday, December 14, 2025, police said.

Rob Reiner, one of Hollywood's best-known directors, was active in progressive politics and had frequently spoken out against Donald Trump.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is a term that Trump and his supporters often use to label his critics.
