Is the image of a man dressed in drag a real photo of Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old man shot and killed by ICE agents in Minnesota? No, that's not true: The person shown wearing a silver skirt and bra with rainbow-colored hair while holding a beer is Kyle Wagner, a self-described Antifa supporter in Minneapolis. That photo is unrelated to Pretti.
The claim appeared in a January 25, 2026, post on Facebook account @TrueReactionary (archived here). It opened with this caption on the photo of two people:
THE PIX ON THE LEFT IS THE PIX THE PRESS ALWAYS USES. I WONDER WHY THEY DON'T USE THE PIX ON THE RIGHT? THEIR NARRATIVE IS, HE WAS JUST A NORMAL GUY SAVING LIVES AT THE HOSPITAL. WELL.. HE DOESN'T LOOK ALL THAT NORMAL TO ME. JUST SAYING
BTW, NORMAL PEOPLE DON'T BRING FIREARMS TO PROTEST RILEY LEAST IF THEY WANT TO KEEP.
