Fact Check: NO EVIDENCE Charlie Kirk Wrote Erika Kirk Out Of His Will After Suspected Affair With JD Vance Satire Label

Does a viral video prove that Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk removed his wife from his will shortly before his murder? No, that's not true: The rumor originated from a self-described satire account. No professional media organization reported the purported change in the will.

The claim initially appeared in a video (archived here) published on TikTok on January 30, 2026. In it, a man said:

Charlie Kirk has apparently written Erika Kirk out of his will, meaning she will get no money from his passing after he assumed she was having an affair, leaving Erika Kirk reportedly furious. Charlie Kirk's will has finally been read several months after his death, with him reportedly leaving all of his money, including all of the Turning Point USA merch sales, to his children and not to her, with Erika explosively yelling at his lawyers when she found out...

This is what the video's thumbnail looked like on TikTok at the time of writing:

The video's thumbnail included an image of a hug between Erika Kirk and U.S. Vice President JD Vance, and, thus, it implied that the alleged affair was with him.

The clip's description, however, was followed by a parody label:

A satire-parody label could also be seen in the account's self-description (archived here):

Searches across Google News (archived here) and Yahoo News (archived here) found no news reports confirming the rumor about last-moment changes in Charlie Kirk's will.

Kirk, the co-founder of conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on September 10, 2025 (archived here).

The rumor (archived here) about the purported affair between his widow, Erika Kirk, and JD Vance started to circulate on social media in the late fall of 2025 after she greeted Vance with a hug (archived here) at a speaking event on October 29, 2025 (archived here), at the University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss (archived here). That coincided with a public appearance of Vance's wife, Usha Vance, without a wedding ring. When Vance was asked about his personal life in early December 2025, he told NBC (archived here) that his "marriage is as strong as it's ever been".
