Fact Check: Fake Video Shows Man Saving Dog Who Fell On Subway Tracks AI Generated

Does a real video show a man rescuing a dog that fell onto the tracks of an arriving subway train? No, that's not true: This video is AI-generated. It was first published on YouTube in January 2026, by an account called ChexyAI. The account tagline says, "It's all a joke." The video does not carry a disclaimer, but several glitches point to it being AI-generated. The man is holding a white bag as he jumps off the platform to save the dog -- but after he lands on top of the dog, the bag is never seen again.

The video (archived here) was reposted on X by @Treymoon_ on March 17, 2026. It was captioned:

A man risked his life to save his dog🙆😭😳 OMG!!!

The results uncovered an earlier copy of the video as well as many other examples of AI-generated videos copying this theme. The short video (archived here) published on Jan. 28, 2026, by @ChexyAI is captioned:
