Did music artist Kid Rock say that he would not release more music if Democrats take control of the House during the midterm elections? No, that's not true: No such statement appears on his website or social media channels. The claim appears only on social media and has not been reported by credible news sources.
The claim appeared in a post published on Bluesky on May 25, 2026 (archived here). The post featured an image with a picture of Kid Rock and text that read:

The claim also appeared with the same text and a different picture of Kid Rock, as shown in this post made on Facebook (archived here).
A Google search (archived here) and a Google News search (archived here) about the claim do not suggest that Kid Rock ever made such statements. As the Google search shows, the text in the image only appears on social media, with no links to credible sources.
Kid Rock's website (archived here), as well as his official social media channels -- Facebook (archived here), Instagram (archived here), X (archived here) -- also do not show any statement related to the claim.
On May 25, 2026, Lead Stories reached out to Kid Rock's publicist, 2911 Media (archived here). Lead Stories received an automatic email about observing Memorial Day. Separately, Kid Rock appeared in a recorded Memorial Day message posted to the Department of War's rapid-response X account (archived here).
Lead Stories will update this story with any additional response from 2911 Media.
