Trump posted a static cartoon image on his Truth Social account wearing hockey gear and holding a stick while standing over Carney saying, "Get up, Governor."
The claim appeared in a video (archived here) by the @essenviews account on X on Sept. 7, 2026. It read:

Trump did not post the animated video which shows him attacking Carney repeatedly with a hockey stick.
Trump did post a static cartoon image where he's playing hockey with Carney on his Truth Social account @realDonaldTrump (archived here) on Sept. 6, 2026. In that image Carney is wearing a hockey uniform and holding a stick while on the ground. Trump is also holding a stick and leaning over Carney saying "Get up, Governor," an insult to the prime minister. This is a screenshot of the post on Truth Social:
