Does a real video show a woman named Consuela Herrera performing side-by-side comparisons between food from Europe and America? No, that's not true: This video is AI-generated. The account on Instagram where the video originated is labeled as an "AI-generated profile" and the reel is labeled "AI content".
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) by the @windsorray123 account on Threads on Sept. 15, 2026. It read:
Well they don't have their own LANGUAGE! Period
This is what a screenshot of the video in the post looked like at the time of writing:

The Threads video player shows a hyperlinked prompt (pictured above at bottom center of the screenshot) to navigate back to Instagram where the video originated. It directs to an Aug. 23, 2026, video from the account @consuelo.remedy (archived here). The account has a disclaimer that says it is an AI-generated profile (pictured below) but also says Consuela Herrera is a holistic healer "Teaching you what my ancestors taught me."

The video (archived here) has an "AI content" label on Instagram. Pictured below is the pop-up window that is displayed when "About this reel" is chosen from the "⋯" menu. It reads:

Lead Stories uploaded an eight-second clip of the video to Hive Moderation (archived here). The AI-Generated Content Detection Tool determined the video was 99.9% likely to be AI-generated video and 57.3% likely to have AI-generated speech.

There are several visual glitches in the video which also betray the AI-generated origin of the video. When the Herrera character pours orange juice through the cheesecloth, the flow of the streams of juice does not appear to be slowed by the thickly folded layers of cheesecloth. When the orange pulp is displayed and jostled as she speaks, what should be a heavy wet mass does not fall off the cheesecloth. It is also a larger quantity of pulp than could have been collected with cheesecloth sitting at the top of a drinking glass. When Herrera cooks the steaks, she begins with two steaks - but when she lifts the seared European steak out of the pan, another steak has appeared to take its place.
