Does a real video show philanthropist Susan Dell wearing a red dress and dancing at an outdoor patio gathering? No, that's not true: The video is AI-generated and was posted with AI disclaimers on Instagram on Oct. 16, 2026. Content detection tools also flagged the video: Hive Moderation rated it 87.5% likely AI-generated, and Sightengine's reading reached as high as 99% likely.
The claim appeared in a post (archived here) by the @allchronology account on X on Oct. 28, 2026. It read:
OMG, this isn't AI. something broke her!!!
This is what a screenshot of the video in the post looked like at the time of writing:

Susan Dell is the wife of Dell Technologies CEO Michael Dell. The video on X has two visible social media handle watermarks, one clear, one blurry. The more legible handle pointed to the Instagram account @dimensionais_ where the video was posted on Oct. 23, 2026, with a lengthy caption (archived here). The caption in Portuguese, automatically translated by Instagram, read in part:
The video was produced with Artificial Intelligence and presents a fictional representation of how Susan Dell would be if the conspiracy theory that she has a supposed reptilian descent were true. A visual interpretation that turns one of the most mysterious internet theories into impressive images!
The second watermark was not as blurry in this copy of the video, which pointed to the Instagram account of @danielag.ai. The account is listed as an AI-generated profile, which Instagram explains is a profile that features an AI-generated person instead of a real human. The bio (archived here) reads:

The video from the @danielag.ai account was posted on Oct. 16, 2026 (archived here) and contained an AI content disclaimer. The post's caption also made it clear the video was made with AI. The Spanish caption, automatically translated by Instagram, read:

Lead Stories took a 10-second clip from this video and uploaded it to two content detection platforms. Hive Moderation's AI-Generated Content Detection tool (archived here) determined the video was 87.5% likely to be AI (pictured below).

The tool at Sightengine has a slider that shows the reading across the duration of the clip (pictured below). The start of the clip shows a reading (blue line) of only 4% likely to be AI-generated, but this rises quickly to 99% likely (archived here). The yellow line represents the reading for deepfake content and hovers below 30% for most of the clip, but at one point spikes to 96% when the face is visible. The Sightengine deepfake detector (archived here) finds image and video manipulations such as face swaps, so faces must be present to get a positive reading.
