Christian Audigier, founder of the Ed Hardy brand, died in Los Angeles Thursday night after a battle with cancer, a source close to the famed fashion designer told Lead Stories.
Audigier, 57, requested to be taken off life support so he could leave his Cedars-Sinai hospital room and return home earlier Thursday, the source said.
The Ed Hardy founder revealed in April that he had been diagnosed with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) in January.
