American "pet parents" spend more than $60 billion a year pampering, treating and caring for their dogs, according to the American Pet Products Association. But a survey done by a company that makes dog treats suggests not all states are equal in making their dogs happy.
Dog owners across the United States were questioned about how often they engage in thankful, grateful and loving behaviors with their animals, including buying them gifts, petting them and telling the "I love you."
