Fake Story Alert: Survivor NOT Suing For Playing 'Eye Of The Tiger' At Kim Davis Jail Release

While it's true the guys who wrote the Rocky III theme song "Eye of the Tiger" are not happy it was used to Kim Davis as she waltz out of a Kentucky jail, Survivor group members are not going to court about it.

Lead Stories' Trendolizer has detected several bogus reports that have gone super-viral, including one from a site that tries to fool you into thinking it's NBC News. Be careful to look at the URL. It is dot-co, not dot-com.

These stories link to Survivor's real FaceBook page where members do make it clear they did not authorize GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's staff, which organized the rally for Davis, to use their hit song. But they never have said they would sue, contrary to the hoax stories.

Davis spent 6 days in jail after a federal judge found her in contempt for not complying with his order that she issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
