Fox's "Grease: Live" captured a 12.2 million viewers Sunday night for a 4.3 rating in the 18-49 age group, besting NBC's live musicals "The Wiz" and "Peter Pan Live," according to Entertainment Weekly.
"The Wiz" audience numbered 11.5 million last year and "Peter Pan Live" was watched by 9.2 million.
The live musical champ, however, is 2013's "The Sound of Music," which earned a stunning 18.3 million viewers.
