Donald Trump tells reporters he would debate Bernie Sanders ahead of the California Primary if it could pay $10 million to a women's health charity to broadcast it. Trump suggested a network could sponsor the debate and contribute part of the money. He said the event should be held in a large arena or stadium.
I am delighted that @realDonaldTrump has agreed to debate. Let's do it in the biggest stadium possible.

Donald Trump told Jimmy Kimmel he would be willing to debate Bernie Sanders before the June 7 California primary if profits from the telecast would go to a charity, an idea Sanders quickly accepted.

But does Trump, who has the GOP presidential nomination locked up, really intend to appear on stage with Sanders, who appears on a road to runner-up to Hillary Clinton in the Democratic contest?
Trump senior press representative Healy Baumgardner told CNN Thursday morning that she has no idea is her boss was serious. "Only Mr. Trump speaks for Mr. Trump," Baumgardner said.
Trump has urged Sanders, who is an independent U.S. senator, to bolt the Democratic Party and run an independent campaign in the general election. Of course, that helps Trump's math in November. A high-profile Trump-Sanders debate could serve as a preview to such a race.
