Corey Lewandowski, who was fired Monday by Donald Trump after managing the billionaire's primary campaign, has a new job talking about the 2016 presidential race on CNN, Politico reported Thursday.
The job, which pays a salary, begins immediately, the website said.
Trump remained loyal to Lewandowski even after he was charged with assaulting a Breitbart reporter at a Florida campaign event -- a charge that was later dismissed, but pressure from Trump's family to replace the controversial staffer eventually led to his dismissal.
But judging from Trump's latest tweets, he won't be watching his former staffer much.
CNN, which is totally biased in favor of Clinton, should apologize. They knew they were wrong. https://t.co/KR7OnS8h6s

Here is another CNN lie. The Clinton News Network is losing all credibility. I'm not watching it much anymore. https://t.co/pNSgSjD5gW
