She has been a reporter, copy editor, news editor, business editor, managing editor and senior editor for more than 40 years in Ohio; Kentucky; Indiana; Virginia; Washington, D.C.; and Georgia. Most recently she was managing editor of two nonprofit news publications for the Center for Sustainable Journalism.
