Fake News! White Woman DOES NOT Gives Birth To Black Baby, Claims Ghost Of Black Man Impregnated Her

Fact Check

A fake story reporting that a "32-year-old Los Angeles woman is claiming that she was impregnated by the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, and is now suing his estate" is trending (yet again) on social platforms, Lead Stories' Trendolizer detected on Thursday, January 26, 2017. The same story first emerged and became viral in October 2015.

Lead Stories can confirm that since Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009, he has not fathered any children. This fake report claims Jackson's ghost raped the woman after she fell asleep while watching a Jackson concert DVD.

"All of a sudden, I was awakened by a hand caressing my face. But I was home alone, my husband was at work," Kiera recalls. "The next thing you know, I'm having this erotic encounter with Michael Jackson. But it wasn't the white Michael Jackson, he was black, and dressed like he was straight out of the Thriller video. I told him to stop, but he would listen."

Other than the well-known fact that ghosts can't father babies, the photograph used to illustrate this story is evidence it is a hoax. The image shows a white woman speaking to a black man. A simple Google image reverse search led us to a July 2015 news report from a real television station in Youngstown, Ohio.

That video is worth watching on its own merit. A Leavittsburg, Ohio, woman accuses her cousin of setting fire to her home because she would not "get with him." But that cousin was not Michael Jackson's ghost.
